Since 1991 Holmeleigh Farmyard has been offering hands-on educational fun combined with animal demonstrations. For interactive education and fun, book your next school outing with us.

Educational Tours

The information supplied by our tour guides is age related and helps children learn about farm animals in a fun and interactive way. We offer tours in Afrikaans, English and isiXhosa.

Play Time

School tour packages include a fun filled tractor ride to the bottom of the farm and back as well as free time to play in our fully equipped playground.

Lunch Packages Available

School children may bring along a packed lunch to enjoy after their tour. Alternatively we can cater lunch packs to suit your budget.

General Tour Information

Deposit

A deposit of R250 is required within 48 hours to secure your booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Catering

Tea garden available with breakfasts, light meals and snacks available at pocket money prices.

Tour Times

Our school tours run from Tuesday to Friday, 09:00 - 12:30.
